TOM AND SHERRI Hi, we are the Anderst family, which currently consists of our son Shawn who lives in Phoenix, AZ., our two dogs Bobbie (Boxer) and Flower (Boston) and we live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our grandson (Alec) and his mother (Anne) also live here in Sioux Falls.
Tom the leader (fearless) is an Assistant City Attorney for Sioux Falls, and I run a construction office. We've lived in Sioux Falls for almost 7 years now. Before that we served in the Peace Corp in Jamaica, West Indies where Tom worked with delinquent children and I taught Farrier Science (horseshoeing). Prior to that wonderful period of time, Tom spent 20 years as a judge and I was a great mom (don't ask my son) and a farrier. I also raised Arabian horses, trained and showed them. Shawn our one and only son works for Greentree Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona. He's a good son, but I don't hear from him enough. Every mother's complaint. He's a big gamer online and you would think that since he's online alot I would get an email once in awhile. I know he will read this and hopefully feel guilty enough to email me a little more often. HA! We are lucky though, he does get home about every 6 months, so mom does get her Shawn fix. He's a fun kid (33), he loves to play golf, go to the gym and play computer games on the net. He makes me laugh alot and I hope that our grandson Alec (below with grandpa), has his dad's sense of humor and his kindness.
